ATI has recently announced the ATI Radeon HD 5870 and ATI Radeon HD 5850 video cards before the industry fully supports DirectX 11 is rolled. They are equipped for the production of 2.72 teraflops of computing power capable of and with 1GB of GDDR5 memory. Each card also notes the "Eyefinity" technology that is capable of driving six 30-inch displays at once. Unfortunately, there is no information on pricing and availability yet.
